The Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden hosts an annual Garden Walk that is open to the UIC community and the Public
Faculty and scientists in pharmacognosy of the UIC Botanical Center at the UIC College of Pharmacy organize the Annual Atkins Garden Walk. The event involves a guided tour through the Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden as well as a lecture by an expert on a topic related to medicinal plants and/or plants used for human health. The event is hosted every year, typically in July/August by the UIC College of Pharmacy and organized in collaboration with the Program for Collaborative Research in the Pharmaceutical Sciences (PCRPS), a research Center at the College.
